WHAT TO BRING


  • Your provincial health card and at least one other piece of photo ID
  • Two to three days’ worth of your medication.
  • Weather appropriate clothing and shoes. You may want to consider bringing a pair of shoes specifically for trail walking and our fitness center.
  • One weeks’ worth of clothing. We suggest bringing comfortable clothing such as exercise or yoga wear as you will be in different forms of therapy throughout the day. There are laundry facilities and laundry detergent here for you to use.
  • Personal items:
    • Essential items and toiletries
    • Insect repellent and sunscreen, for outdoor activities
    • Disposable razors only (i.e. no straight razors, or razors with loose or removable blades)
    • Reading materials.
    • Mp3 player & headphones with no internet access
    • Personal items such as family photos
    • Mobility aids, such as a cane, walker, wheelchair, scooter, if needed

WHAT NOT TO BRING


  • Do not bring any tobacco-related, smoking, or vaping products. This includes: cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, snuff, cigarillos, water pipes, e-cigarettes, vaporizers, lighters, and matches. If these items are brought to facility, you must remit them to Ravensview staff, who will dispose of them—you will not be able to retrieve them at any point.
  • Clothing with logos or phrases about dieting, food, exercise, alcohol or drug use, gambling, politics, or sexually suggestive, offensive or provocative content (including beer logos, references to drugs, etc…) are against dress code and are not permitted. Any clothing that depicts gangs or criminal related materials are not permitted. We also ask that you not wear scrubs or uniforms, including fatigues, camouflage, and military-issue clothing.
  • Due to infection control concerns, please do not bring personal bedding, pillows or mattresses.
  • We will dispose of all and any: tobacco products, alcohol, illegal substances, and non-prescribed drugs.
