Clinical research and innovation
Ravensview is partnered with the Homewood Research Institute, an independent charity dedicated to research that informs mental health and addiction treatment in Canada and worldwide. HRI works with some of North America’s most influential scientists, researchers, and clinicians, coordinating efforts to improve treatment in order to save lives.
Initial assessment and care planning
Specialized care and program planning begins with:
- An extensive one-on-one assessment at the beginning of treatment to identify issues and prioritize treatment plans
- Onsite withdrawal management and detox is available if required
- Treatment plans may include proven modalities including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), psychotherapy and cognitive processing therapy (CPT)
