If you or someone you care about is living with mental health or addiction challenges, Ravensview can help with the treatment and recovery journey. In a private, serene, inpatient facility situated within 28 forested acres, we treat mental health, trauma, addiction, and co-occurring disorders including post-traumatic stress, major depression, anxiety, addiction, chronic pain, and operational stress injuries.
Addiction
For people who want to reduce their dependency on alcohol and/or drugs (including medications), or who want to change other addictive behaviour that may be disrupting their lives. Ravensview offers treatment overseen by a specialized physicans, expert therapists and an interdisciplinary clinical team of experts that help individuals build the skills they need to be on the path of recovery.
Anxiety disorders
We get to the heart of recovery from anxiety disorders using a set of therapeutic approaches and evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioural therapies, expressive therapies, and mindfulness practices.
Chronic pain
Chronic pain is complicated by the interplay of mental health conditions that often accompany it. The Integrated Chronic Pain Service offers a beacon of hope for individuals experiencing chronic pain alongside anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, or co-occurring disorders.
Co-occurring conditions
Ravensview offers treatment for people with more than one challenge, such as co-occurring depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction or chronic pain.
Depression
Through specialized care plans, innovative treatment options, comprehensive therapy, and targeted programs for specific populations, we treat depression, chronic mood disorders, and treatment-resistant depression.
Trauma and PTSD
We offer specialized programming designed to treat complex trauma and/or post-traumatic stress, with or without the presence of co-occurring conditions. Issues such as fear, anger and shame are addressed with an expert team with extensive experience dealing with trauma symptoms.
Gambling Disorder
Homewood Ravensview provides one of Canada’s only specialized inpatient treatments for problematic gambling, offering medically led, trauma-informed care for Gambling Disorder (GD) and co-occurring mental health conditions.
