Dr. Arthur Shuster is a full-time psychiatrist at Ravensview. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, having completed his undergraduate medical degree at Western University and his postgraduate psychiatry training at the University of Toronto. He concurrently holds a faculty appointment at UBC.
Prior to joining Ravensview, he worked in Toronto, Ontario, where his clinical work focused on obsessive-compulsive disorder, while also running his private psychiatric practice in Toronto with a focus on psychodynamic psychotherapy. Dr. Shuster works with adult patients struggling with a range of difficulties including mood and anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, trauma-related disorders, and other conditions. Prior to medicine he completed graduate training and conducted academic research in the humanities in the United States.
